  1. Abagail, Green & America

Abagail was listed in the will of Daniel Wilcoxson in 1832. She was to be freed on her death. Her son Greenup or Green was 6 months old and was to stay with her until he was 10 years old. At that time he was to be sold with the proceeds going to Daniel's heirs. The same would hold true for any other children born to Abagail. On Daniel's death in 1838, Green was listed in probate records along with a girl named America.

In 1860, a Black woman named Abagail Wilcoxon was living next door to Lewis Wilcoxson, Daniel's son.
