premises. Three Negro slaves, namely a man November, a woman Judy, an other woman named Malinda. Whereas Linthicum is indebted to the President and Directors of the Bank of the State of Ala, by note in the sum of $800, on which Burford and Johnson are securities. Now Linthicum being willing to protect his securities against any loss executes this mortgage. Dated Feb. 10, 1838. Ack. before B.E. Grace, Clk. Co. Ct. Feb. 10, 1838.
