Premises & $5/00. 4 Negro slaves, namely November a man, Judy a woman, Malinda a woman, and Caroline a girl. Whereas Washington Burford & Thomas Joseph have become securities for William G. Linthicum on a not in the sum of $2000, payable to the President & Directors of the Branch of the Bank of the State of Ala. at Dacature Ala. Now Linthicum being willing to secure payment of said note executes this mortgage.
