79.98 ½ acres, being the SW ¼ of NE ¼, Sec 26, TP 15, R 3W, and the SE ¼ of NE ¼,Sec 1, TP 16, R 3W. Also 1 negro woman named Sylvia of light complexion, age about 20 yrs. Ezekiel Staggs is indebted to Thomas W. Rockett in the sum of $200 as evidenced by 2 notes and being willing to secure payment of same, Staggs executes this deed of trust. Dated June 15, 1838. Ack. before W.K Baylor, Judge of Co. Ct. June 15, 1838.
Filed June 15, recorded June 16, 1838. B.E. Grace, Clk. Co. Ct. Marginal: Rec’d of Baylis E. Grace, Trustee, the sum of $46, the amount which the land described in this deed sold for. Nov. 4, 1839, Thomas W. Rockett.
