Premises. One negro woman slave named Milly, age about 28 years, & her 4 children, namely, Ester, Monney, Eliza & Primus, & also 81.11 acres land being the E ½ of SE ¼, Sec 19,TP 18, R 3W. Whereas Joseph Pierce is the security of David Pierce in 2 notes in the sum
of $1050 payable to the President & Directors of the Bank of the State of Alabama & David Pierce being also indebted to Thomas W. Rockett in the sum of $850, & being willing to secure Joseph Pierce against loss & to also secure the payment of the debt to
Thomas W. Rockett, David Pierce executes this deed of trust. Wit. B.E. Grace, Dated Apr. 17, 1838. Joint ack. by David Pierce, Benjamin T. Robinson, Joseph Pierce, & Thomas W. Rockett before B.E. Grace, Clk. Co. Ct. Apr. 17, filed Apr. 17, recorded Apr.
