Harriet a girl about 5 years old
Oliver a boy about 3 years old

Premises & $1.00, 5 Negro slaves, namely, Susan a woman about 33 years old, Louisa, a girl about 13 years old, Tom a boy about 10 years old, Harriet a girl about 5 years old, & Oliver a boy about 3 years old. Whereas Sandifer is indebted to Williamson Hawkins in
the sum of $1600 by note, now Sandifer being desirous to secure payment of the note specified, executes this deed of t rust. Wit. Thos. Sanford, Dan’l E. Watson & James Beasley.
Dated Apr. 18, 1838. Ack. jointly by Edward L. Sandifer, John M. Cameron, B.E. Grace & Williamson Hawkins before Hugh Morrow, Jr., Clk. Cir. Ct. Apr. 27, 1838. Filed and recorded Apr. 27, 1838. B.E. Grace, Clk. Co. Ct. Marg: I do hereby acknowledge that the
Trustees in this deed have his charged their duty correctly according to the provisions of the same by selling the property to the highest bidder before the Court House door & C and that I have received of said Trustees in the sum of $360.62 the balance which the property was sold for after satisfying the $1600 due to W. Hawkins, April 1, 1838. E.L. Sandifer.
