WOODSON WADE & Thomas M. Adkins, to America Jones, formerly America Wade, all of Jefferson Co. Ala.
Enslaved Persons: negro slaves, Emily, Louisa & George & their increase

Whereas by the will of Reuben Wade, deceased a large portion of his
real & personal estate was willed to the said Woodsonn Wade & Thomas M. Adkins, & they being willing for the sake of peace, to effect a more equal distribution of said estate convey their title & interest in negro slaves, Emily, Louisa & George with their increase to America Jones, during her life time & at her death to the heirs of her body. Inevent there are no heirs, said negros are to revert to said Wade & Adkins. July 7, 1838. Wit.
